    Virtual Open House Dates for 2021

    Join our Principal, Dr. Ontiveros and our Counselor, Mrs. Sutherland in one of our FEBRUARY Virtal Open House Sessions to learn more about our program. These virtual sessions are open to all students and parents (we are currently accepting applications for Grades 6-11 and will be a full-fledged 6-12 program by 2022/2023). They will discuss STEAM, YWA Endorsements, the NewTech Network and how it prepares your daughter for college, our Project-Based Learning approach, accolades, and the opportunites available with girl-centered education and why it matters. Various staff, WARRIOR students, and facilty will also be available to discuss their academic programs, interest clubs, leadership opportunites, and our Middle School to Varisty Sports program. Please join us at the YWA HomeBase link at 6:00p.m on any of the following days... February 1, 8, 16, 22.

    Transportation provided for students living within the EPISD boundaries. Pick up location will be at students’ home EPISD middle school. 

    *Parents please send an email to youngwomensacademy@episd.org to request transportation for your daughter.

    If selected to enroll, students are required to:

    • Accept the expectations, challenges, and rigors of the program
    • Maintain "good standing" in the areas of academic performance, discipline, and attendance
    • Participate in collaborative learning environments
    • Engage in service learning projects
    • Formalizing a 6-12 Professional Plan that supports student learning and development
