Any public High School TEACHER must have the following:

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification per Texas Education Agency regulations for the position assigned

Any public High School PARAPROFESSIONAL must have the following:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education or a passing score of 467 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment  
  • Get ahead! If you do not meet the minimum 48 credit hours, please take the ParaPro Assessment before you apply
