Biography

My goal is to work diligently with students, parents and faculty to foster an atmosphere that promotes a learning community focused on student centered needs, academic excellence, trust, respect, community involvement, communication, and recognition of student, parent and staff achievements.

As a team, we will move forward each school year to create a nurturing, innovative, and challenging environment in which all students learn at optimum levels and become responsible members of society. Positive people, not programs, make a school successful. As a servant leader and mentor, I will lead with empathy, listen attentively, seek to understand, and utilize the experience and talents of others. I believe open, respectful collaboration can solve any problem.

The definition of a teacher is one who inspires, guides, enlightens, and motivates; a tireless scholar.

Leadership is teaching through teamwork to accelerate success and empowering community. Together, we will provide the opportunity to continually strive to identify key challenges in curriculum, instruction, and assessment while improving school culture, serving student needs, and promoting parent and community involvement.

Educators are charged with developing the whole child in a proactive, nurturing environment. Through shared decision making, organization, flexibility, and endurance, a culture of high expectations can be created. My motto is to continually learn and grow with fidelity and make a difference.
