The Equity and Community Engagement Department leads the work of family engagement, community schools and equity with the intent of creating strong partnerships that involve collaboration among families, schools, and community organizations to improve student achievement. 

We are committed to these partnerships so that together we may promote equitable practices for the purpose of eliminating achievement gaps and facilitating the academic and personal success of students so they may thrive long after they walk across the graduation stage.
