(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – June 10, 2024) — Franklin High School concluded the first day of El Paso ISD graduations on Monday, June 10 with a big celebration at the Don Haskins Center. 

738 seniors earned their diplomas on graduation night in front of their friends and family members. El Paso ISD’s largest graduating class for 2024 earned over $50 million in traditional and non-traditional scholarships. Some of the students have been accepted into prestigious universities such as Yale, UTEP, Duke, Mercer, Texas Tech, St. Edwards and more. 

Guiding their peers with exemplary academic excellence, Elaine Do and Angelina Marranzini emerged as the valedictorian and salutatorian respectively, embodying the commitment to excellence that defines Franklin High School. 

Many of the students earned industry-based certifications through the high school’s magnet programs. 32 graduates have certified Patient Care Technicians, 19 students are certified Clinical Medical Assistants, and another 21 are certified in Phlebotomy.
