    (EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – June 11, 2024) — On Tuesday, June 11, Andress High School’s Class of 2024 celebrated their graduation ceremony at the Don Haskins Center, with 325 seniors proudly crossing the stage to receive their diplomas in front of family and friends. 

    Leading the class with exemplary academic achievements were valedictorian Kierah Montes and salutatorian Francesca Isabella Montero. Montero was also honored with the title of All-Girl, while Camrin Isaiah Gulley received the title of All-Boy. 

    The Class of 2024 boasts several notable graduates. Craig Wydra will be joining the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) football program, and Anessa Barrera will be playing for the UTEP soccer team. Additionally, Breanna Washington will attend Le Moyne College in DeWitt, New York, on a $92,000 scholarship, and William Barrone will head to the University of Alabama this fall.  

    Eight students have committed to enlisting in the military, with two planning to attend the New Mexico Military Institute.
