Updated Sites!: EPISD's annual summer meal program will start on Monday and continue through August. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to children ages 1-18 at 40 sites throughout the District.

EPISD unveils guidelines, plans for commencement ceremonies
The El Paso Independent School District will have outdoor commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2020 in June to celebrate the accomplishments of high-school seniors while remaining compliant with local and CDC guidelines in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The District received approval from the City of El Paso to move forward with its plan to have outdoor graduation ceremonies for all high schools at three different stadiums on June 15-20.

El Paso’s iconic Star on the Mountain will shine bright over the next days in honor of the graduating seniors from the El Paso Independent School District’s Class of 2020. Unfinished business: Coldwell teacher delivers novel students were reading when pandemic closed schools
When schools closed indefinitely because of the pandemic, Elizabeth Bañuelos and her students at Coldwell Elementary were reading a novel. Thanks to a grant, the teacher was able to buy and deliver copies of the novel so the students can finish reading it at home.
