Coronado teachers volunteer time to tutor students
A group of Coronado High teachers gathers every Wednesday evening at a West Side apartment complex to provide free tutoring to students of all ages who may be struggling with their courses. The free tutoring sessions are a way for these dedicated educators to respond to any potential learning loss that may have happened during the pandemic.

Ribbon cutting ceremony celebrates opening of new Duran Elementary
The new Coach Archie Duran Elementary School in Northeast El Paso, an EPISD Bond project, had its official ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday. The state-of-the-art school consolidated the former Crosby, Dowell and Schuster elementary schools and honors the memory of a beloved coach and educator.

Update on EPISD's mask rule
The EPISD mask mandate remains in effect for all staff, students, and visitors on EPISD property or in district vehicles, including school buses. There has not been a ruling to the contrary in the litigation that EPISD is a party. Thank you for your continued compliance with the District's protocols and procedures.

Austin High School opens new softball field at Memorial Park

The Lady Panthers' new field is now walking distance from campus and it construction was made possible thanks to an interlocal agreement with the City of El Paso.
