Academic and homework support. For McKinney Vento students at homeless shelters-Salvation Army, YWCA TLC, Child Crisis Center and La Posada Home. Available at all EPISD campuses, all students at each shelter regardless of what district they attend.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Presentations
Counselors provide lessons/presentations on alcohol and other drug, to include drinking and driving. For students and parents/guardians. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Provide tennis shoes to students for families served by Focus on Children and Families. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Daily Mental Health Student Check-Ins
Counselor daily classroom visits to check-in on student well-being for all PK-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Daily Psychosocial Check-In
Measures student readiness to engage in learning using a survey that measures six dimensions of pyschosocial-emotional well-being. Students that are in accute need of support are referred to the counselor for K-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Bullying and Cyberbullying presentations, one per semester. For students and parents/guardians. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Drug and vaping Use prevention
Anti-drug and vaping use presentations for staff and students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Health Screenings
Students are screened for vision, hearing, acanthosis nigricans and scoliosis by school nurse. For students in grades PK, Kinder, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th grades and all new students to the district. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Counselors meet with student groups during lunch (not lunch duty) for all PK-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Short-term counseling to address immediate needs before referral to outside therapy for PK-12th grade students and parents and guardians. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Development of schoolwide core values, expectations, and interventions for student behavioral support. Currently focused on relaunching Tier I and Tier 2 supports. For PK-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

SEL Team support for implementation at the campus level using the framework developed by CASEL for EPISD students and staff. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Seizure First Aid training
Staff and teachers are trained on what to do when someone is having a seizure. For any teacher or staff that may come in contact with a student who suffers from a seizure disorder and the Emergency Response Team at every campus. Available at all EPISD campuses.

SEL Momentum Monthly Newsletter
Monthly resource sent to all employees featuring SEL curriculum for the month, SEL strategies for the classroom and micro-professional learning for teachers. For EPISD staff. Available at all EPISD campuses.

SEL Student Growth Measure
Formative survey assessment to measure student growth in developing efficacy in the SEL core competencies. In FY22, a measure of a sense of belonging and teacher-student relationships was added. Assessments are taken at BOY, MOY, and EOY. Student Intervention supports are available to address areas in need of support. For 3rd-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Staff is trained on what to do for a severe injury that is causing life threating bleeding. For Emergency Response Team at every campus.

Suicide Risk Screening and Management
Suicide and Self-Harm outcry EPISD protocol for all PK-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.

System Navigators
Provide ongoing Social Services and assistance with identifying student enrollment support to McKinney Vento students and their parents. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Teen Dating Violence/Healthy Relationships
Developmentally appropriate presentations on relationships. For students and parents/guardians. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Telemedecine Office Visit
Porvides Telemedicine Services to students who have been assessed by the school nurse and determined to need to see the doctor for a sick visit. For all students who have enrolled in the program and parent has given consent for student to be seen by Goodside Health providers. Available at all EPISD campuses.

Therapy Services
The licensed professional counselor will intervene collaboratively with campus staff to provide onsite direct assistance and support to the families in terms of counseling, therapy, access to social services and other resources. For PK-12th grade students. Available at all EPISD campuses.
