EPISD teachers can apply for $2,500 Innovative Teaching Ideas grant from State Farm
(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT -- Dec. 3, 2020) — EPISD teachers are invited to join with their peers throughout the state in submitting their innovative teaching ideas for one of 40 State Farm Teacher Assist grants in the amount of $2,500.
The program's application period opens at 4 p.m. Jan. 11 and concludes with receipt of the 200th submission or Jan. 15 at 11:59 p.m. Teachers can prepare now.
Go to the website to download and read the rules and develop answers to the following entry form questions:
- If you receive a $2,500 grant, how will you use the funding to resolve your challenges?
- What opportunities will this funding help your students realize?
- How can the program be replicated by teachers at other schools?
The State Farm Review Committee will score the first 200 submissions to identify 40 winners. The winning teachers will be announced the week of Feb. 1, 2021, on the State Farm Teacher Assist website.
