Meet Our Principal

Greetings Charles Middle School Parents/Guardians,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the newly appointed principal of Charles Middle School. It is my honor to begin working with our outstanding faculty, staff, students, and community. I stand committed to leading the Chargers with competence and character as we further a tradition of excellence.

I believe that everyone should understand the why, how, and what of the work they perform. As Charles Middle School Principal, my why is to provide all students the best possible educational experience, because they deserve it! How this will be accomplished is to foresee and fulfill the needs of educators who participate in systems designed to foresee and fulfill students’ needs. What we will accomplish is student academic, career, and personal successes. These have all led to my personal mission statement: excellence by design for all.

Finally, I share EPISD’s focus on the following areas: culture of care and compassion, safety and security, and high-quality instruction. I have built my entry plan to help Charles Middle School align with these focus areas. We will be working together with families and the community. We will work to provide for the needs of the whole child. We will be ensuring that all who enter our campus are safe and secure. We will be maximizing our teachers’ outstanding talents and efforts to ensure all Chargers achieve their highest potential. We will achieve excellence, it will be by design, and it will be for ALL Chargers!

Saludos a los padres/tutores de la Escuela Secundaria Charles,

Es con gran entusiasmo que escribo esta carta de presentación como directora recién nombrada de la Escuela Intermedia Charles. Es un honor para mí comenzar a trabajar con nuestra destacada facultad, personal, estudiantes y comunidad. Estoy comprometido a liderar a los Chargers con competencia y carácter a medida que fomentamos una tradición de excelencia.

Creo que todos deben entender el por qué, el cómo y el qué del trabajo que realizan. Como directora de la escuela secundaria Charles, mi razón es brindar a todos los estudiantes la mejor experiencia educativa posible, ¡porque se la merecen! La forma en que se logrará esto es prever y satisfacer las necesidades de los educadores que participan en sistemas diseñados para prever y satisfacer las necesidades de los estudiantes. Lo que lograremos es el éxito académico, profesional y personal de los estudiantes. Todos estos han llevado a mi declaración de misión personal: excelencia por diseño para todos.

Finalmente, comparto el enfoque de EPISD en las siguientes áreas: cultura de cuidado y compasión, seguridad e instrucción de alta calidad. Elaboré mi plan de entrada para ayudar a la Escuela Intermedia Charles a alinearse con estas áreas de enfoque. Estaremos trabajando junto con las familias y la comunidad. Trabajaremos para satisfacer las necesidades del niño en su totalidad. Nos aseguraremos de que todos los que ingresen a nuestro campus estén seguros y protegidos. Estaremos maximizando los talentos y esfuerzos sobresalientes de nuestros maestros para asegurar que todos los Chargers alcancen su máximo potencial. ¡Lograremos la excelencia, será por diseño y será para TODOS los Chargers!
