“Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world.” Educating the youth has been a deep passion of mine for many years. I have been a part of the El Paso Independent School District for the past 19 years. It was a pleasure to be a part of Morehead Middle School ELAR team for over 16 years, where I then moved on to be a Campus Teaching Coach at Cooley Elementary for the south side of EPISD for 2 years.
After graduating from my hometown University of Texas at El Paso in 2003, with my B.A. in Education, I then pursued my Master of Education in Educational Administration in 2018, from Grand Canyon University. I have proudly served as an Assistant Principal for Bliss Elementary for the 2023 school year and moved to Bobby Joe Hill PreK-8th as the Assistant Principal to work closely with my stakeholders in a different community in order to continue to foster a positive school culture that will flourish, motivate, and inspire teachers and students to love learning, for the 2023-2024 school year.
To be given the opportunity to make an impact on an entire school is phenomenal and every year I will continue to implement my ideas for excellence.
