My name is Carola Lambert, and I am your Military Family Liaison here at Cpt. Gabriel L. Navarrete Middle School. My key role here at Navarrete is to be an advocate for our military connected students and parents. I can help you find points of contact in the local and military communities. My primary duties include:
- Serving as the point of contact and working collaboratively between military-connected students and their families and the campus.
- Ensuring military-connected students are identified and properly coded through the Texas Student Data System Public Education Information Management System (TSDS PEIMS).
- Determining campus-based support and services available to military-connected students. based on their unique needs, including their high mobility.
- Assisting in coordinating campus-based programs relevant to military-connected students.
I am originally from Germany, where I met my husband while he was on active duty. My family and I moved to El Paso in 2010, and after my husband retired in 2017, we decided to stay here. All three of my children have attended (youngest is still attending) EPISD schools.
I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you and your children. If there is anything that I can help you with, please do not hesitate to call me at the school at (915) 236-6368 or e-mail me at calamber@episd.org
Our goal is to become a Purple Star Campus.
