Hello everyone! My name is Eva Marie Sotelo, the Family, Military, and Community Liaison at Bowie High School. I will be here to provide support for families, the community, and for military-connected students by connecting them with available resources in both the local and military communities. I serve as the liaison between military-connected students and their families and the campus, and I aim to work collaboratively to ensure that their needs are met.

I will identify military-connected students and ensure they receive the campus-based support and services available to these students based on their high mobility and unique needs. I also assist in coordinating campus-based programs that are relevant to military-connected students.

I am also a Bowie High School graduate from the Class of 1994. Prior to working here, I worked in correctional facilities. I am ready and excited to face new challenges and be able to help military-connected families. I am committed to working with you and your children to ensure they receive the best possible education.
