(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT -- Nov. 15, 2022) – The El Paso ISD Board of Trustees recognized both the El Paso Electric Company and Texas Gas Services as the November Partners of the Month for their support of the EPISD Education Foundation.

El Paso Electric contributed $15,000 to the foundation's 2022 scholarship fund. With the help of El Paso Electric, the foundation awarded nearly $100,000 in scholarships to the Class of 2022.

Texas Gas Services contributed $10,000 to DonorsChoose on behalf of the EPISD Education Foundation to fund STEAM focused grants for middle and high school teachers in El Paso ISD. 

"Both Texas Gas and El Paso Electric have been outstanding community partners for the EPISD Education Foundation," said foundation president Russell Wiggs said. "We are grateful for their support and the difference it makes for our students and teachers."
