IB Mission Statement
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
Andress Mission Statement
Andress High School will provide a diverse international learning experience. Students will be nurtured in being globally minded, compassionate citizens who participate in creating a more peaceful world by demonstrating intercultural understanding and respect.
Andress High School will foster the individual development of positive attitudes, and critical thinking skills, by implementing challenging programs of international education, rigorous assessment, and promoting lifelong learning. Parents and the community will be actively engaged as partners in supporting this endeavor.
