    Why does it matter? 

    Students can make good decisions so they can take advantage of technology both at school and at home.

    Kids technology abilities at times surpass their maturity.

    Kids can get a wealth of information but it can also mean access to inappropriate content.

    Inappropriate exposure and risks:

    -Privacy compromised
    -Digital relationships
    -Sexting
    -Cyberbullying

    Travis has partnered with Common Sense Media to provide resources, tips and videos to help parents and teachers keep our students safe in the digital world.

    Digital Vision Statement:

    Every student at Travis Elementary School will become a responsible digital citizen accessing safe, effect, ethical digital material.  To accomplish this goal, the students at Travis, will receive at least 3 hours of becoming a responsible digital citizen instruction.
