PBIS at Western Hills

Western Hills Elementary School has always strived to create a safe and positive learning environment for all students.  In an effort to continue to improve our school climate and maximize academic achievement, staff at Western Hills have worked together to develop a PBIS Plan. One important piece of PBIS is to create a set of 3-5 school rules that are well known to all affiliated with our school.   The primary goal of this plan is to create a positive school environment that fosters being respectful, responsible, and safe.  We will work to accomplish this goal by focusing on these three behavioral expectations in classroom and non-classroom settings. Students will continue to be encouraged through rewards and incentives when they demonstrate these expected behaviors on a consistent basis.
