Application Process:

• In-District (EPISD) students who attended an EPISD school during 7th and 8th grade, need to complete the Silva application form.
  • UPDATED DEC 6: Please email me a copy of your STAAR test scores from 7th grade ONLY. I have access to your grades and attendance report.
• Out-of-District (NEW to EPISD) students, please click on the Silva application link above and email the required documents to William Vega wavega@episd.org (required documents will be in the link)

Requirements for Acceptance

· Average of 85 or higher in core classes (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies)

· 7th grade final report card for incoming 9th grade students or 8th grade final report card for incoming 9th grade students

· 8th grade most recent report card for incoming 9th grade students - or - 9th grade most recent report card for incoming 10th grade students

· STAAR scores (approaches/meets/masters) for 7th grade for incoming 9th graders - or - STAAR scores for 8th grade for incoming 10th grade students

· State specific assessment results in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics for out-of state students

· Attendance 90% for previous year

For incoming 9th grade students who are coming from an out-of-district school, submit the following documents in addition to completion of the online application above. Send all documents below to wavega@episd.org

1. Final report card 7th grade (official report card)
2. 8th grade MOST RECENT report card (wait until 1st Nine Weeks report card is issued)
3. District benchmark or standardized test scores from your current school in Reading, Writing, and Math
4. Absence Report (if not included on report card)

For incoming 10th grade students who are coming from an out-of-district school, submit the following documents in addition to completion of the online application above. Send all documents below to wavega@episd.org 

1. Final report card 8th grade (official report card)
2. 9th grade MOST RECENT report card (wait until 1st Nine Weeks report card is issued)
3. District benchmark or standardized test scores from your current school in Reading, Writing, and Math
4. Absence Report (if not included on report card)
