myON A student-centered, personalized literacy environment that gives students access to more than 6,000 digital books. Titles are dynamically matched to each individual student’s interests, grade and reading level in both English and Spanish. Students will log onto myON using Classlink. 

Istation is an award-winning, comprehensive e-learning program used by more than four million students and educators around the world. K-5 students in EPISD use Istation for both Reading and Math. Parents have access to a Parent Portal.

Assessment Resources for Students and Parents The Texas Education Agency provides several links across its websites that help parents find information regarding the state assessment.

Texas Assessment Website The new TEA Texas Assessment website provides parents with varied resources that help clarify and explain the state assessment, including access, explanations, and videos about the STAAR scores, the STAAR test, Lexile measures, and quintile measures.

The U.S. Department of Education is the agency of the federal government that establishes policy for, administers, and coordinates most federal assistance to education. This U.S. Department of Education website has a section = Parents/Help My Child Read 

The Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) is a center at Florida State University. FCRR is a multidisciplinary research center that explores basic research into literacy-related skills and studied effective prevention and intervention. 

Reading Rockets is a national public media literacy initiative offering information and resources on how young kids learn to read. Reading Rockets provide research-based strategies to teachers, parents, and anyone else involved in helping children become readers.
