Advanced Courses

  • By taking advanced courses, all students have the chance to display their college and career preparedness and even earn postsecondary credit. These courses encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-life experiences, while fostering an environment that supports innovative thinking and creative solutions.

For GT students enrolled in advanced courses, they will receive specialized instruction from a teacher trained in GT education.

Additionally, grades earned in these courses are weighted to reflect the challenging nature of the curriculum. For more information on how grades are converted, please refer to Local Policy EIC.
